Every object holds a story.
The Sicilian Tuppo is inspired by the large terracotta vessels that, for centuries, were an essential part of Sicilian homes, used to preserve what was most valuable.

We have reinterpreted this heritage through a clean and contemporary design language.
The name of the collection embodies a double tribute to Sicily.
The Tuppo is the traditional Sicilian hairstyle—a graceful bun worn by women, symbolizing elegance and identity. At the same time, the word evokes the simple gesture of a lid that closes and protects a container.

From this inspiration comes the lid that completes each piece: an element that is not only functional but an integral part of the design, expressing the timeless idea of safeguarding what is precious.

Each piece is wheel-thrown and carefully finished entirely by hand in our workshops, where the art of ceramics continues to be passed down from one generation to the next.

The exterior combines the tactile beauty of natural clay with the brilliance of a glossy glaze, bringing together two distinct souls of ceramics: one raw, authentic and earthy, the other luminous, reflecting the warm light of the Mediterranean. Applied by dipping, the glaze naturally flows over the surface, creating unique shades and variations on every piece. The interior is fully glazed to ensure durability, practicality, and everyday functionality.

Designed to hold flowers, branches, kitchen utensils, or simply to exist as a timeless decorative object, The Sicilian Tuppo adapts effortlessly to different uses while preserving its distinctive identity.
It is an object created not for a single purpose, but to accompany everyday life—just as the traditional storage vessels of rural Sicily once did.
Every shade, every subtle imperfection, every natural movement of the glaze tells the story of the artisan’s hand. For this reason, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
