The top of this side table – which measures 40×40 cm across and stands 45 cm high – is formed from sixteen maioliche tiles each of which measuring 10×10 cm, making it a perfect piece of furnishing with a typically mediterranean feel.

The millenary tradition of majolica, which have traditionally been used to tile floors and kitchens, meets the modern feel of hand-worked iron.

A product of exceptionally high-quality manufacture, it is discreet and modern yet full of the warmth of our handcrafted majolica’s exuberant decorations.

Our side tables are perfect as a coffee table next to the sofa or beside the bed as bedside tables, or even as a drinks table for an aperitif in an outdoor setting.

PRODUCTION

First of all we handcraft our majolica.

The decorations are inspired by the colours and motifs of Sicilian culture, and are created freehand by our artisans who transform each object into a genuine work of art.

The raw material is worked entirely by hand, which makes our majolicas very different from industrial products.

They possess a characteristically irregular base which is typical of a handcrafted product and synonymous with high quality.

The vibrant decorations, executed completely freehand without the help of prints or decals, will bring a touch of style to your furnishings.

Once the majolica have been fired, the iron is worked by hand to create an elegantly minimalist frame.

We then attach the majolicas and leave the products to dry naturally.

In this way, we we obtain exceptionally high-quality pieces of interior design which will bring the colours and smells of the Mediterranean into your homes.

CARING FOR YOUR TABLE

The surface of our side tables can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.

The frame is naturally porous and can be cleaned with a synthetic chamois cloth.
