The Ubaldo Moor’s head vase is available in three sizes: 17 cm<\/strong>, 27 cm<\/strong> and 38 cm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ubaldo lives off the fiftieth step of the staircase of Caltagirone.<\/p>\n

A strong, sweet-hearted Moor, his dusky face carefully observes all the passers-by as they become entranced by the aroma of his lemon trees, whose\u00a0beautiful green leaves he uses for his love potions.<\/p>\n

Each day he smells the scent of a delicious marmalade floating through the city.<\/p>\n

It comes from the window of a house not far from his own, and he knows that sooner or later he will have the courage to knock on its door.<\/p>\n

THE PRODUCTION<\/h3>\n

The process of creating a Ubaldo Moor’s head vase involves two firings in a kiln.<\/p>\n

The first lasts thirty-six hours at a temperature of about 980\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

After this, the piece is slowly cooled and then immersed in tanks containing the enamel which will give the surface of the object its distinctive, eternally glossy appearance.<\/p>\n

Once it has dried, the head is decorated by hand by our master craftsmen and then given a second firing to glaze the enamel.<\/p>\n

This takes about thirty-six hours at a temperature of 920\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Next, the decorations in gold are applied and the piece is fired for a third time to fix them.<\/p>\n

This phase lasts around 24 hours and takes place at temperature of 700\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

The Ubaldo Moor’s head vase is perfect for rendering a corner of a living room unique.<\/p>\n

It is also ideal for outside areas like terraces, balconies and gardens.<\/p>\n

It can contain plants of all types.<\/p>\n

A typical ingredient of Mediterranean cuisine, lemons are a symbol of loving loyalty and protection.<\/p>\n

CARE AND DETAILS<\/h3>\n

To clean the object, use a soft, damp, non-abrasive cloth.<\/p>\n

Do not use chemical cleaners, as these may damage the glaze.<\/p>\n

The product should be handled with care, making sure to avoid dropping it, knocking it against hard surfaces (as even the slightest bump can chip the surface) or anything else which might damage it.<\/p>\n
