Ninella lives on the island of Salina in a white house with a vegetable garden.<\/p>\n

She loves spending her days among the spicy chillies, juicy capers and freshly picked tomatoes in her kitchen.<\/p>\n

Every night she sits in a wicker chair and watches the sunset kiss the sea.<\/p>\n

The Ninella Moor’s head vase is available in three sizes: 17 cm<\/strong>, 27 cm<\/strong> and 38 cm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

THE PRODUCTION<\/h3>\n

The process of creating a Ninella Moor’s head vase involves two firings in a kiln.<\/p>\n

The first lasts thirty-six hours at a temperature of about 980\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

After this, the piece is slowly cooled and then immersed in tanks containing the enamel which will give the surface of the object its distinctive, eternally glossy appearance.<\/p>\n

Once it has dried, the head is decorated by hand by our master craftsmen and then given a second firing to glaze the enamel.<\/p>\n

This takes about thirty-six hours at a temperature of 920\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Next, the decorations in gold are applied and the piece is fired for a third time to fix them.<\/p>\n

This phase lasts around 24 hours and takes place at temperature of 700\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

IDEAS AND INSPIRATIONS<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Ninella Moor’s head vase is perfect in the kitchen for holding your wooden spoons or a basil plant, or at the centre of the table filled with delicious, freshly-baked breadsticks.<\/p>\n

Or even on your desk, full of coloured pencils, or on the bathroom sink, holding your toothbrushes.<\/p>\n

It can contain small plants and flowers of all types.<\/p>\n

The chilli peppers which are typical of Mediterranean cuisine represent best wishes and symbolise good luck.<\/p>\n

For this reason, Ninella is also an ideal gift for a loved one.<\/p>\n

CARE AND DETAILS<\/h3>\n

To clean the object, use a soft, damp, non-abrasive cloth.<\/p>\n

Do not use chemical cleaners, as these may damage the glaze.<\/p>\n

The product should be handled with care, making sure to avoid dropping it, knocking it against hard surfaces (as even the slightest bump can chip the surface) or anything else which might damage it.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Always handle Moor’s heads with care, making sure not to put pressure on the crown or decorations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
