Inspired by the rich heritage of Sicily, its vibrant colors, and its traditional decorative motifs, our plates are entirely hand-painted by master artisans who transform each piece into a true work of art.
Every plate is unique, the result of a handcrafted process that ensures no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

The shades of turquoise and ivory evoke the sea in summer, while maritime-inspired decorations bring the authentic charm of Sicily to your table.

The production process is long and meticulous. By choosing this dinnerware set, you are bringing into your home a masterpiece of authentic Italian craftsmanship.

THE PRODUCTION PROCESS

Everything begins with clay, our raw material, which is shaped by hand until the desired plate form is achieved.
After drying naturally and slowly in the open air, the piece undergoes a first firing lasting approximately 36 hours at around 980°C.
Once removed from the kiln and cooled, the plate is immersed in white glaze baths.

This process covers the natural terracotta color and provides the perfect base for decoration.
At this stage, our master artisans begin decorating each piece entirely freehand, without the use of prints, transfers, or decals. Every design is created through artistic skill and craftsmanship, inspired by traditional motifs dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, while also embracing contemporary color palettes.

Once decorated, the plate undergoes a second firing of approximately 36 hours at 950°C, permanently setting the colors and making each piece truly unique.
After naturally cooling and drying, the plate is ready for use.

For the most elegant presentation, we recommend using neutral-toned tablecloths in pure linen or cotton, or a traditional Sicilian lace tablecloth.
This will allow the plates to become the focal point of the table, creating a stunning visual effect for you and your guests.

Upon request prior to ordering, each plate can also be fitted for wall display.

Subject to stock availability, individual pieces may be replaced if accidentally broken.

PRODUCT PERSONALIZATION

Upon request, the back of each plate can be personalized with a name and date.

CARE AND DETAILS

Our handcrafted ceramic plates are durable and dishwasher safe.
We recommend handling them with care and avoiding harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive sponges, as these may damage the glaze.

When loading the dishwasher, avoid allowing the pieces to knock against one another and ensure adequate spacing between items to prevent friction during washing.
